Isaiah 1:16-17 Wash yourselves, make yourselves clean. Put away the evil of your doings from before My eyes. Cease to do evil. Learn to do good. Seek justice, rebuke the oppressor, defend the fatherless and plead for the window.
Often in our lives, we can pick up bad habits that we know we shouldn't have formed. Isaiah was telling the people to wash themselves of their sins; to put away the habits they had picked up. Instead God wants us to learn to do good and have the heart of the Father.
Over these next 21 days, let's pray that instead of focusing on the wrongdoing and the sin that entangles us, let's focus on what is on God's heart.
