Day 6: Wednesday 11th Jan

Isaiah 58:6 Is this not the fast that I have chosen to loose the bonds of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, to let the oppressed go free and that you break every yoke.

In life we pick bad habits. At first these are habits that are not good but all they are, are bad habits. However bad habits can turn into addictions. Once we become addicted we get tangled; we get bonded by our addictions.

God has not called us to be overcome, but to be overcomers. As we fast and pray we give God the permission to dig deep in our lives and remove the things that don't belong. We give Him permission to uproot our bondages and addictions so we can be free to serve Him wholeheartedly!

Prayer Points:

Pray for our Satellite and partner churches: Lighthouse North (Pastor Reji), Agape Eritrean Church (Pastor Mehari), Kingdom Life Church Preston (Pastor Dele), Carrington Church (Pastor Hardy), Rochdale Church (Pastor Isaac). Pray for these pastors and their families, for ministry growth, God’s provision, etc.
