Day 10: Sunday 15th Jan

Ezra 8:21 Then I proclaimed a fast there at the rivers of Ahava that we might humble ourselves before our God to seek Him for the right way for us, our little ones and our possessions.

At this time Ezra was faced with a difficult decision that he had to make. The decision not only affected him but the people with him. Often in our lives we are faced with difficult decisions. These decisions we are faced with not only affect our lives but others around us.

Like Ezra, while we are fasting we should be seek God for the right way. We must understand the decisions we make define who we are. And as Ezra says later, (Ezra 8:22) “the hand of the Lord is upon those who seek Him.
