Day 11: Monday 16th Jan

Psalm 9:9-10 The Lord will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble. And those who know Your name will put their trust in You. For You Lord, will not forsake those who seek You.

What a great, encouraging verse that David writes here. The Lord is there for those who are in troubling times. He is our refuge and stronghold in times of trouble. What we must do is learn to trust and seek Him.

As we are in this fast, let's learn to trust and seek Him. Whatever kind of troubles we are going through, financial, emotional or physical, let us learn to put our trust in Him. And the Lord says, He will not forsake those who seek Him.

Prayer Points:

Pray for our Pastors and leaders, Pastor Paul & Mags, Jo & Justin, Alex & Nancy, Jesse & Hannah, Richard & Petra, Bayanda, and Sam, for God’s anointing, inspiration and direction. Pray for teachers and leaders in the worship team, LightForce, cleaning team, welcome team, sound and camera teams, car park team, minibus drivers, office staff, youth, C groups, M groups, charity shops, choir, café, etc. Pray for new leaders to be raised up to teach and lead in different areas of the church.
