It’s often said that we would get a shock if all the volunteers in church took a week off. We’d come to church and there would be no heating on … no chairs put out … the carpets and toilets would not be clean … maybe we wouldn’t even get as far as church because no minibus driver came to pick us up … no car park attendants to help us park, no PA team so no sound coming through the speakers, nothing on the screen, no lights … no musicians to lead us in worship … and so on!
Today let’s give thanks to God for those who normally never get thanks – for those who serve in the church in quiet ways in the background doing essential jobs.
· Our car park team who are out every Sunday morning in all weathers
· Our minibus drivers who are up early on a Sunday to come to church and pick up a minibus, then driving around the city picking up people for the service and then dropping them back off again before taking the minibus back to church again
· Those who serve in the café and the kitchen preparing drinks and food
· Our cleaning team who clean the church from top to bottom when we’re not looking and we’re not there to thank them
Bless every one of these servant-hearted people, Lord, and reward them with your presence and your grace and favour in their lives, add to them, multiply them many times over, that we will always be a church full of willing servants.
Amen! Thank you to everyone who is serving, each in their own way. God bless you indeed
Only prayers are the solution to get you out from any difficult situation. You cannot think that by visiting Mumbai, your problems will resolve. The essay writing services uk reports that these Indian people use black magic tricks which are harmful for both persons too.
