As we take this time at the beginning of the year to pray and seek God for 2019, here are some prayer pointers to add to what you are personally praying and believing for. Let’s encourage one another – God is faithful and will surely bring to pass what we commit to Him!
· Let’s pray with praise and thanksgiving for what God has done, is doing and is going to do.
· Let’s repent and turn our backs on everything that the Holy Spirit shows us is wrong in our words, actions and attitudes, so that we become more like Christ, showing his love to others.
· Let’s pray in line with our key verse for this year from Joshua 1:9 “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid; do not be dismayed, or the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go!” Let’s pray for courage, strength and obedience in all that God calls us to this year.
· Today as MPs vote on the Brexit deal, pray for our nation that God will overrule and guide our leaders.
