Prophesying and Declaration of things to come in 2019 for personal and Church ministries Wow I can’t believe 21 days have passed. I don’t know about you but for me it’s been an amazing journey with the Lord. It’s been great to humble ourselves before the Lord and seek his face. To say “No” to every hunger pang, or “no” to our desires to pick up a social media, or “no” to every time we see that appetising dessert or appealing chocolates, and saying “YES” to God is so worth it. However after today, I won’t be looking at smoothies or veg for a WHILE!!! For the last 21 days we have humbled ourselves and sought his face in prayers and found directions and instructions in his word. He spoke to us in the secret place and we have drawn closer to Him. He whispered his deep secrets and we got to know him and his way more than when we started 21 days ago. I AM THANKFUL for what he is going to do in 2019. On Sunday we heard from P Alex, if we obey the Word of God, if we do what it says, only THEN we will unlock the blessings and promises of God to come to us. We have humbled ourselves and sought him in last 21 days, according to his word in 2 Chronicles 7:14: “If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, THEN I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land. So today let’s believe and thank God and prophesy and declare into 2019 all that He has spoken to us will come to pass for our church and for our own personal life. Let’s prophesy that according to that scripture God will forgive us and heal our land. Let’s declare that according to Joshua 1:8 we WILL BE prosperous and successful: “Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. THEN you will be prosperous and successful.” And according to Isaiah 58:8-12, let’s prophesy that darkness will become light, we will be physically strengthened and healed, God’s righteousness and glory will be all around us, He will guide us continually, He will satisfy our soul, God will makes us like a well-watered garden and will restore our cities and people. “THEN your light will break forth like the dawn, and your healing will quickly appear; THEN your righteousness[ a ] will go before you, and the glory of the Lord will be your rear guard. 9 THEN you will call, and the Lord will answer; you will cry for help, and he will say: Here am I … THEN your light will rise in the darkness, and your night will become like the noonday. 11 The Lord will guide you always; he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail. 12 Your people will rebuild the ancient ruins and will raise up the age-old foundations; you will be called ‘Repairer of Broken Walls, Restorer of Streets with Dwellings’.” I am thankful all the upcoming opportunities and yes even the challenges in 2019 because I know these challenges will lead me into God’s purposes and victories so I WILL BE STRONG AND COURAGEOUS AND NOT BE AFRAID AND DISMAYED! Amen

- Today let’s us pray for our leaders: our pastors, key leaders & c group leaders. Pray that God will give them strength, wisdom and vision to help us move into everything that God has for us as individuals and as a church. Have you ever tried to drive somewhere without looking? I can’t imagine you have because if you have, chances are you crashed. It’s absurd to think that we would try and drive without out looking on the road yet isn’t that how we some times live our lives? We don’t really look at what God is bringing us into and we just go any and everywhere. When we fast and pray, we align our lives to what God has for us. We open our spiritual antennas to see what God is bringing us into. Instead of walking around aimlessly, we move forward in purpose. What if this year instead of having our spiritual eyes closed or fixed on what we want, we had them tuned in to what God was doing. As we finish our prayer and fasting, let’s determine to continue to push into what God has us. Let’s use these last days as a catalyst for the year. Instead of going back to what we have always done, determine to set your ‘spiritual sails’ into the direction that God is taking you and watch what He does in and through you! This year for 2019, let’s come with expectant hearts that when we set our lives into the direction He is moving, we will see exceedingly, abundantly more than we could imagine or think of in us and in our church.
- Today’s prayer points are to pray the jobs and finances of those coming to the church and for the church. Let’s pray God will bless our finances so we can continue to give into the work God has called us to do. How easy is it for us to get annoyed and complain about the things we face? I don’t know about you but I have a tendency to complain and get annoyed. Often it’s not even about the big things; it can be about the small things. It can be about that co-worker, about the kids, about traffic! If we want to, we can find a way to complain about any and everything. In Exodus 16 the people of Israel are complaining to Moses and saying how they have no food. They were annoyed that they were in the wilderness with nothing to eat. They were getting so angry and complaining that they were forgetting about the miracle that God had just done. God had just brought them out of Egypt and wiped the Egyptian army yet all they could do was complain! Moses let them know that God would provide food but that their complaints weren’t against him but against God. I believe one of the big reasons God doesn’t like a complaining heart is not just because of our negative attitude but when we complain, we are forgetting/negating what God has done for us. Instead of being grateful for what He has done we complain. As we come to a close of our prayer and fasting, why don’t you create and establish a habit of thankfulness. Instead of complaining, give thanks. The circumstance may not change, but when we have a spirit of praise and thanksgiving it opens our perspective to see what God is doing in and through us!
