"God does not hand out a fully mapped-out plan four our life. There is no manual for our life, other than the Bible, with every day scheduled, every decision made, every "t" crossed and every "i" dotted. Even though God has the knowledge in His possession, He doesn't show us the details of every single day before it happens. Thats why it requires faith to follow Him" Steven Uppal.
I don't know about everyone, but for me I find that extremely comforting. To know that the God who is in control of everything, the God who makes the impossible become possible has predestined my life and ordained a great plan for my everyday.
I wonder if that's the kind of comfort Joshua had when facing the Walls of Jericho. Literally walking around the walls and thinking by now they should fall, having people probably mocking him and the God he trusts in. But he still decided to have faith, knowing that God has got a plan and in God's time all will work for those who trust in the Lord.
Maybe we have been praying and seeking God during these 21 days of praying and fasting for specific thing to change or happen in our lives and we are not seeing any results. Can I encourage someone today to trust that God's timing is impeccable, He is a faithful God who's words will never returned void so do not be dismayed or discouraged but stand firm with an expectant heart knowing that He has ordained our every day.
I will decide to praise You for your faithfulness and trust that your timing is perfect. So Lord have your way.
