Day 14, January 24th Prayer Point

On this day let us pray for:

Our LIM missions and for our kids to be rescued

    Our church nursery and staff

    Our charity shops to flourish

What is the point of fasting? Why do we fast and pray?

Although it may be hard to fast, fasting with prayer allows me to take the opportunity to pull myself away from the distractions of the world and tune in to what God is speaking to me.

There are many things that God wants to do in and through us but are we paying attention, are we tuned in to His heart beat? Prayer and fasting opens a channel for me to intentionally hear from Him.

What I’ve really noticed is that when I am fasting and praying I hear His heart. God puts things on to my heart to pray for.

During this time of prayer and fasting why do you ask God what is on his heart and pray into them.

Praise God! It was only an hour ago that I spoke to someone in the Lighthouse office about LIM. Am very encouraged by the prayer point coinciding.

Lets pray and encourage one another on our kingdom mission to the needy and forsaken. Mathew 25:40 says

”The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.”

Jesus here is saying you are touching me by your generosity, and we know that God is not a debtor to man, he pays back (Prov 19:17).

Lord thank you that you have blessed us as your children with every spiritual blessing in Christ, that out of your grace we are able to give. We pray for more children to be rescued and established in their destiny of life - the life you have given by your sacrifice.
