Church Services

We love it when people come together to praise God and hear his word. We love the buzz and the tingle of excitement when the roof gets lifted off in prayer. We love it when the colour of national costume, the multitude of languages and massive diversity flow together with a common purpose. We love it when the Church is loud, vibrant and enthusiastic. If you like that as well then you will fit in great.

Main Church Services

Our main Sunday services are at 9am and 11am. We have two services so that we can fit everyone in. Our busiest service is the 11am so if you like a bit of space to dance around then the 9am service might be for you. Both services have the same worship and the same message so please feel free to attend where you feel most comfortable at. We run a Sunday School and Creche at both services.

Altitude

Altitude is unapologetically loud and in your face. Designed to be high impact and challenging we like to mix things up a little. The worship is enthusiastic and the message straight as an arrow. We add some multimedia, lights, lasers and smoke to flavour the event. It might not be to everyones taste but it certainly isn’t boring.

We like to keep Altitude short and sweet (around 1 hour) and close things off with the Apex cafe. First time attenders get free cake! Altitude normally takes place at 6pm on every last Sunday of the month but until Christmas 2007 events will occur on the first Sunday of the month (November 4th and December 2nd). Check the events diary for more information.

All Nations Day

All Nations Day is our annual event celebrating the amazing work God is doing bringing the nations together in our church. At the last count we had over 50 nations represented in our Church all serving a common goal despite our differences. All Nations Day is a great opportunity to get us all together. With over 600 people in all our different services and fellowships we obviously cannot fit everyone into our current building. In 2005 and 2006 we held the event in Wythenshawe Forum.

All Nations Day 2007 will be held on November 18th at Maxwell Hall, Salford.

Agape Eritrean Church

Agape Eritrean Church has been operating out of LCC for 5 years now. They have seen tremendous growth and now number 150-200. They meet at 2pm every Sunday and also hold small group meetings and prayer meetings at various times of the week. Agape is led by Pastor Mehari and Weini Debessai.

Ethiopian Church

The Ethiopian Church is an offshoot of Agape Eritrean Church and meets on Saturdays at 4.30pm. It is great to see Ethiopians and Eritreans working and worshipping together especially in the light of their respective countries animosity towards each other.

The Malayalam Church in Manchester meets in their own building on Scout Drive, Newall Green every Sunday at 9.30am. Over 60 people meet for a very lively service! The Malayalam Church is led by Pastor Reji and Reena Varghese who have pioneered 9 churches in the UK and are even beginning to branch into Europe!
