Leadership & Staff

Senior Pastors

The Senior Pastor at the Lighthouse is Paul Hallam. Paul and his wife Margaret have ministered at the Lighthouse since 1986 and have witnessed incredible growth in their time here.

Pastors

Justin is an architect and Jo is a speech therapist. Both have been attending the Lighthouse for over 10 years. They have two sons, Danny and Tom.

Worship & Student Pastor

Pete Reynolds is our Worship and Student Pastor. Before coming on staff Pete worked with the Pais Project; playing guitar with Flipside for 2 years. He’s been playing guitar, singing and writing songs for several years, and in his spare time enjoys listening to music and going to the gym (to eat bacon sandwiches).

Youth Pastor

Richard is our Youth Pastor and also works in our office. He has been at the Lighthouse for over 10 years and is married to Petra who he met in the church youth group. They have a young son called Oscar.

Church Leaders

The Church currently has an active Pastoral Leadership team consisting of Paul Hallam and Justin Marks. They are supported by a team of Deacons; Graham and Margaret Harrison, Karen Rosser, Irene Lawrence, Delserene Woodson, John McNair and John and Liz Guard.

Pastoral Support

Irene Lawrence is our Pastoral Support worker. Her role within the church is mainly taken up with visiting people, praying for those with needs and encouraging people in their faith.

Derek Saunders

You will often find Derek running around the church putting out cameras and sweeping up stones in the car park. If you manage to stop him then he’s the guy to ask about minibuses, pick ups and anything related to video.

Chris Fontaine

Chris is our receptionist and cleaner. She is much loved in the office because she makes a cracking cuppa! She is normally the first voice you hear when you call the office and she also keeps the plants looking healthy at the church.

Moses Gebremariam

Moses is part of the Eritrean congregation and a great help around the office. He is literally prepared to do anything and is often called upon to keep track of Pastor Paul’s hectic schedule on mission trips - you need a degree in advanced mathematics just to book flights!

Charlotte Wood

Charlotte works voluntarily and has the ‘envious’ task of doing anything Emma tells her to do. This normally involves counting money. filing and designing flyers. She is a massive help to Emma for which everyone else in the office is truly thankful.

Jeff Stoker

Jeff is our conference manager, warehouse manager, pickup and delivery manager, fire safety guy…..if there is a job title in the world chances are that Jeff has held it. He cooks a mean breakfast.
