Ethnic Fellowships

The Lighthouse is blessed to have so many countries and cultures represented within our church.

Agape Eritrean Church

Agape Eritrean Church has been operating out of the Lighthouse for many years now. They have seen tremendous growth and now number 150-200. They meet at 2pm every Sunday and also hold small group meetings and prayer meetings at various times of the week. The Eritrean church is led by Pastor Mehari Debessai and his wife Weini.

Ethiopian Church

The Ethiopian Church is an offshoot of Agape Eritrean Church and meets on Saturdays at 2pm. It is great to see Ethiopians and Eritreans working and worshipping together especially in the light of their respective countries animosity towards each other.

Malayalam Indian Church

The Malayalam Church in Manchester meets in their own building in Wythenshawe every Sunday at 9.30am. Over 100 people meet for a very lively service! The Malayalam Church is led by Pastor Reji and Reena Varghese who have pioneered several churches in the UK and are even beginning to branch into Europe!

Francophonian (French speaking) Church

Matthieu and Deborah Daniel lead the Francophonian church. They meet every Sunday at 3pm at Union Hall Evangelical Church, Hulme. Their services are in French with anywhere between 12 and 25 Africans meeting together.

Polish Church

Peter and Maria Jantz lead this pioneer work amongst the Polish people of Manchester. They meet every Sunday at 6pm.
